Now it's up to Peter and his cohort of chums to hunt the deadly lycanthrope and bring him to heel!

When a Mitsubishi Eclipse washes up on the shores of the Netherlands, officers are surprised to find some unusual cargo in its boot. Fortunately, unusual cargo just so happens to be wizarding-cop Peter Grant's specialty. Infiltrating illegal street races, Peter hopes to find the supplier, but instead quickly finds himself speeding into a whole new world of trouble, where old enemies await.

"Collects Rivers of London: Water Weed #1-4."--Back cover. It's all gone to pot!

London's waterways have been overrun by a brutal and beautiful queenpin of crime. A menacing figure known only as the Hoodette is sending her henchmen along the river to distribute her new magically produced drug. Unfortunately for them, the waterways are home to the Rivers of London--ancient gods and goddesses of the British capital who just so happen to have a very close friendship with newly promoted Detective Constable Peter Grant and his mentor, Thomas Nightingale.

In a gripping tale of cat and mouse from Rivers of London author Ben Aaronovitch and Andrew Cartmel, with art by Lee Sullivan, Peter Grant encounters goblin girls and paintball-savvy goddesses as he tries to uncover the Hoodette's true identity and find her supply!

Child kidnapping is already an appalling crime, but in the latest case for Detective Constable Peter Grant--newly promoted in the ranks of London's Metropolitan Police, but with a lot still to learn about wizarding--things take a truly dark turn when the victims become prey in a homicidal hunt that Grant and the members of the Folly must stop!

Zoe Kahn is no stranger to the difficulties of caring for magical creatures, but even feeding deadly basilisks didn't prepare her for this crisis. Zoe and her classmate Logan are sure that the dragon is being framed, but unless they can prove he is innocent, Scratch will be executed. Worse yet, the Menagerie will be forced to shut down -- which Logan and Zoe are starting to fear is exactly what someone wants...

Canadian author. An investigative journalist reckons with the cost of her own—and the culture-at-large’s—obliviousness.

Over the last thirty years, Canadians have been forced to face their country’s genocidal attempt to destroy its Indigenous populations through segregation, poverty, coerced labour, and infectious diseases. Few have read the statements of claim, academic literature, or multi-volume commission reports setting out exactly what we stole and who we hurt (and how); and the policies and decisions which harmed generations of Indigenous people are still not broadly known.

In Oblivious, investigative journalist Elaine Dewar exposes the governmental and psychological machinery that allowed this to continue for so long. The granddaughter of settlers saved during their first Prairie winter by the generosity of Indigenous neighbours, Dewar explores how even well-meaning Canadians who glimpsed what was being done did nothing to stop it. In the process, she uncovers further evidence of crimes against Indigenous people, including unethical and cruel scientific experiments, a segregated and woefully inadequate health care system, and a callous indifference to Indigenous well-being that has almost entirely eroded the sense of trust true reconciliation must be based on.

Part memoir, part investigation, Oblivious tells the story of a Jewish girl from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who grew up in a society so segregated—its Indigenous people consigned to an alternate universe—that she, like so many of us, failed to notice their plight for decades.

Includes recipes. Between their busy lives and their far-flung residences, the Mother-Daughter Book Club--four longtime friends and their five daughters--more often discuss the books on their nightstands via 2 a.m. texts than in-person meetings. And maybe it's just as well, after what happened at their last get-together...

So it's an emotional reunion when they finally gather again, this time on the spectacular shores of Italy's Lake Como. Sightseeing excursions, 'Como-politan'-fueled reminiscing, and a hint of vacation romance all build toward the book club's trademark 'Night of Secrets.'

These friends, and sometime rivals, are close readers--of novels, memoirs, and of each other. But as the years and the distance cast shadows and doubt, confidences and sympathies turn into surprising revelations.

Includes excerpt from book 2 of the summer rangers series, "In too deep." Tech-savvy hacker Nimue Hart has mastered the art of staying invisible, living off-grid in her Airstream and hiding from the Russian mob who want her silenced. But when a rescue mission forces her into the spotlight, her carefully constructed world begins to crumble.

Grand Canyon Backcountry Ranger Liam Kingsley buried his heart in the Swiss Alps a year ago after a tragic climbing accident. Now he keeps tourists safe and his emotions locked away--until a mysterious woman with secrets of her own makes him question everything he thought he knew about safety.

As their worlds collide, Nimue and Liam must navigate more than just the treacherous canyon trails, and their growing trust in each other might be their only lifeline. But when Nimue's past catches up with them at the canyon's edge, Liam faces his worst nightmare all over again--with a woman he can't bear to lose.

Three different kids. One mission in common: escape.

JOSEF
is a Jewish boy living in 1930s Nazi Germany. With the threat of concentration camps looming, he and his family board a ship bound for the other side of the world...

ISABEL
is a Cuban girl in 1994. With riots and unrest plaguing her country, she and her family set out on a raft, hoping to find safety in America...

MAHMOUD
is a Syrian boy in 2015. With his homeland torn apart by violence and destruction, he and his family begin a long trek toward Europe...

Harrowing journeys. Unimaginable dangers. The hope of tomorrow. And the surprising twist that connects all three stories in the end.

On December 10, 1887, a shark-fishing boat disappeared. On board the vessel were the Walkers -- the ship's captain, Frederick; his wife, Elizabeth; their three teenage sons; and their dog -- along with the ship's crew. Suddenly, a storm arose, destroying their craft and leaving those on board adrift.

The next day, the castaways discovered they had washed ashore on an island inhabited by a large, ragged man who introduced himself as Hans. Hans quickly educated the new arrivals on the island's resources. But Hans had a secret...and what seemed to be a stroke of luck to have his assistance become something darker.

In his newest book, Matthew Pearl unveils one of the most incredible yet little-known historical true stories. Save Our Souls asks us to consider: who might we become if we found ourselves trapped on a deserted island?

Discovering that he has nine lives and is destined to be the next 'Chrestomanci' is not part of Christopher's plans for the future: he'd much rather play cricket and wander around his secret dream worlds.

But he soon finds that destiny is difficult to avoid, and that having more than the usual number of lives is pretty inconvenient-- especially when you lose them as easily as he does!

Then and evil smuggler, known only as The Wraith, threatens the ways of the worlds and forces Christopher to take action...
